Topics include: Development, Financial Leadership, Board Engagement, and Workplace Culture.

Board Academy

annually | in-person | reduced rate for members

Nonprofits play a critical role in the well-being of our community and at the helm of every nonprofit is a governing board. Effective board leadership ensures nonprofits can better achieve their mission. The curriculum educates participants on best practices of board service during four evening sessions. Next session begins January 2025.

Board Member Roundtables

Leading your nonprofit can be rewarding and often challenging as a volunteer board member. Board Roundtables give you dedicated time, without nonprofit staff members present, to ask questions and discuss topics critical to effective board leadership.

Ready to Lead

2 cohorts annually | FREE

Ready to Lead seeks to support and engage historically under-represented people who wish to serve on nonprofit/government boards, committees, task forces, commissions, and other work groups. We seek to increase both the diversity of skilled people ready to serve and the inclusiveness of organizations who deliver services in the community. Participants will graduate feeling confident with their new skills; have a community mentor, and an expanded network of friends.
