SUMMARY:Workplace Culture Peer Learning Cohort - Session 1
DESCRIPTION:Apply for the Cohort\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Based on the Surgeon General’s 2022 Report on Workplace Wellness and Mental Health\, this cohort program aims to enhance employee well-being through five essential areas: protection from harm\, connection and community\, work-life harmony\, mattering at work\, and opportunities for growth. Each session is designed to provide practical tools and strategies for fostering a healthier\, more supportive workplace culture.  \nThe cohort will be limited to 12 people.  \nFacilitator: Terri Allred \nDates: January 15 | February 19 | March 19 | April 16 | May 21 | June 18 \n \n \nSponsored By: \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Session 1 - Protection from Harm\n				Objective: Develop strategies to safeguard employee well-being by ensuring physical and psychological safety in the workplace.  \n \nKey topics include psychological safety\, trauma-informed leadership\, physical safety\, and burnout prevention. Participants will conduct a culture audit to identify safety gaps and develop an action plan for safer\, healthier workplaces. \n \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Session 2 - Connection and Community\n				Objective: Foster a culture of connection\, collaboration\, and trust among employees to enhance mental health.  \nKey topics include building trust\, promoting collaboration\, addressing isolation\, and fostering recognition. Participants will assess current team dynamics and create community-building strategies. \n  \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Session 3 - Work-Life Harmony\n				Objective: Understand how to balance work and life to promote well-being and prevent chronic stress.  \nKey topics include boundaries\, flexible work policies\, supporting caregivers\, and combating an always-on culture. Participants will evaluate their own work-life balance and create strategies for their teams. \n  \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Session 4 - Mattering at Work\n				Objective: Create a workplace where employees feel their work has meaning and are valued contributors to the organization’s mission.  \nKey topics include the impact of purpose\, recognition\, autonomy\, and fairness. Participants will explore case studies and develop ways to integrate purpose into daily work. \n  \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Session 5 - Opportunity for Growth\n				Objective: Empower leaders to cultivate growth opportunities for employees\, fostering continuous learning and upward mobility.  \nKey topics include career progression\, mentorship\, continuous learning\, and reframing challenges. Participants will map out career development paths and establish a learning culture within their teams. \n  \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Session 6 - Consolidation and Action Planning\n				Objective: Bring together the key learnings from the cohort and create actionable strategies for implementing workplace wellness initiatives. \nThis session focuses on reflecting on insights gained throughout the program\, integrating wellness principles into daily practices\, and developing personalized action plans. Participants will work on creating specific\, measurable plans for applying the strategies covered in previous sessions\, with a focus on sustainability and long-term impact.
