Effective
Nonprofits (leaders, staff, and boards) have access to the knowledge and resources necessary to serve their constituents’ needs and proactively identify and address gaps in community needs.

Member-Driven Programming
Since its inception in 2016, local nonprofit leaders have served as Consortium leaders - prioritizing community needs, bringing forward concerns and opportunities, and recommending how best to serve members.
Serving as a nonprofit Executive Director is a very lonely job. So often, we struggle with difficult situations in isolation. Having the Rochester Nonprofit Consortium offer Executive Director meetings with an open agenda allowed me to have productive conversations with other community EDs about burning questions of the day. Each time I attend, I come away with something helpful that I can apply to my work, and I feel supported.
Cindy Russell | The Reading Center
I joined the Rochester Nonprofit Consortium this year as I sought sound advice from experienced nonprofit executives to deliver the best service that I can offer to my constituents. What a blessing this group is to our community!
George Beech | Salt & Light Partners
As a grassroots organization, we have learned a ton from joining the Consortium. The advice and knowledge we receive helps us grow in our community.
